A delightful rural walk starting at Tithby railway bridge in Bingham. We descend to the disused railway line now looked after by the wildlife trust and continue on the good trail which opens out onto a panorama of open fields and big skies.
The walk continues along field margins and the river Smite before meandering back to the railway track.
The descent/ ascent to the track involves 40 broad and gentle steps. To cross a bridge on the return we descend a fairly steep but short track which could be slippery depending on the weather. Otherwise a pretty flat walk.
There will be one coffee stop and comfort breaks as required. Lunch is optional at the end of the walk, as gardens are In close proximity as is Bingham town centre.
Please register for this walk on Newark Ramblers website where you will also find details of our car share scheme.
