We are the Solihull Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

The walk distance is around 6 miles, but pavement walking is a lot more tiring than walking on paths so we will be stopping fairly regularly! Any person wishing to leave the walk before the finish is quite welcome to do so; we are always less than a mile from the city centre. We end the walk at Moor Street Station for the train back to Solihull (or Jewellery Quarter).
There is no mud or stiles.

The recommended train times are: 10.03 Dorridge - 10.11 Solihull arriving at Jewellery Quarter Station at 10.34. The train also stops at Widney Manor at 10:08. There is usually plenty of free parking at this stop.The walk will start when the train arrives.
N.B. For those people with an older persons bus pass, they can be used on this train.
Meet at street level in Vyse Street, outside the Jewellery Quarter Train Station, Vyse Street. NOT the the station platform. (please see image) For those wishing to travel to the start by car there is a small P&D car park next to the station (£5 all day); there is also a larger car park a few hundred yards along Vyse Street opposite the junction with Pitsford Street (6 hours £5.40; £7.60) for all day.
