Overview

From Birnam we walk to the Cathedral and follow the riverside track upstream before crossing the bridge over the A9 and then uphill through the woods to The Hermitage.  From The Hermitage continue to Rumbling Bridge before returning to Birnam via Ladywell Plantation and the Inchewan Burn.

Walking poles required as some of the paths are uneven and may be muddy and there are
tree roots.  There may be livestock.
