Overview

The walk crosses the River Tyne at Newburn Bridge, and ascends through the Blaydon Burn Nature Reserve to Winlaton and Barlow.  The route then descends through Folly Nature Reserve, to Ryton and onto the River Tyne at Ryton Willows before returning.
