Overview

This is a circular walk from Westbourne over to Stansted and back through bluebell woods and Woodmancote. We follow the Sussex Border Path most of the way to Stansted. From there the route takes us along Park Lane, past the Racton Monument to the sheep meadows overlooking the Ems valley. After lunch there, we walk alongside the bluebell woods (access to the woods is now discouraged but hopefully the bluebells will still be blooming) The stroll back to the starting point takes us through Woodmancote , along Cemetery Lane , round the outskirts of Westbourne and back across grassland to Hampshire Farm Meadows
