We are the Rushcliffe Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Starting at the Poppy and Pint, we walk through part of Lady Bay to follow the footpath from the Hook to the Trent. We go east along the Trent past the sailing club and follow the Trent until we come to the lock; we then go inland to the Water Sports centre, following it to the eastern end. There we will have a coffee stop; this is 3.1 miles from the start of the walk.
We now walk south west along the Water Sports centre after which we go back to the Trent and retrace our route back to the Poppy and Pint for a well-earned lunch.

Public Transport: Various buses from Central Avenue pass nearby. Bingham and Cotgrave connections as well as the 33, stop near Rutland Road just off Radcliffe Road.
The toilets will be open in the Poppy and Pint before we start and there is another toilet in the building on the return part of the Water Sports centre, approximately 4.4 miles from the start.
