Overview

This is the seventh in a series walks which will cover the 75 mile National Forest Way.  From Ticknall we follow the National Forest Way to its most northerly point, Hangman's Stone, and continue on to Foremark Reservoir and the dramatic Millstone Grit of Carvers Rocks before entering rolling countryside and swathes of new woodland planting on the way to Hartshorne and Smisby.  Our return takes us through part of the Calke Estate.  Mainly field paths and farm tracks, some road walking.  May be muddy in places after rain.

If you would like to join this walk, please contact the walk leader using the email link.
