This is a BOOKABLE walk for 20 people. It starts at the Ferry Boat Inn car park, Stoke Bardulph NG14 5HX, and we walk up on tracks through Burton Joyce towards the ridge where Lambley is situated. The walk uphill is just under a mile and is steep in places. Our pace will be moderate and not fast. Then, walking west and south, we return through fields and the edge of Netherfield past the Netherfield Lagoons nature reserve. The final part of the walk is along the river Trent.

There are about 3 stiles only. It may be muddy in places. Please bring a packed lunch. It is an enjoyable walk and the Ferry Boat Inn will be a welcoming place if anyone wants a drink afterwards.
For those who want to come by bus, the Number 26 goes from King Street, Nottingham, at 9.05 a.m. and arrives at Wheatsheaf court at 9 30 a.m. It is an hourly bus and there is a bus back at 14.25 or 15.25 pm from Wheatsheaf Court. If you are coming by bus, please let the leader know so that you can meet up with the group.
