Overview

Joint walk led by Howden & Goole Group. We begin by walking through Brayton Barff and enjoying the profusion of bluebells, then cross the busy A63 via a pedestrian bridge and follow the Selby Horseshoe to Burton Bridge and the Selby Canal. We then follow canal footpath for over a mile to Paper House bridge; from here we follow farm tracks through a wood to the lovely  village of Gateforth. Leaving the village we pass a couple of farms and cross a high speed rail tack via a pedestrian bridge and field paths , eventually returning to Mill Lane. There will be a drinks break & a picnic lunch break.
