Overview

This lovely walk from Llandynidr starts on a quiet lane which soon leads to fields followed by open moorland which eventually leads to another road. We follow this for a short distance and pick up a track which descends through the forest.  We then ascend on a narrow path and at the top of which we meet the Beacons Way. We follow this for a mile or so and then climb to the top of Tor-y-fol where we are met with a lovely panoramic view overlooking the Talybont reservoir. We then descend on a wide path which leads  to fields and finally a path beside the canal with opportunity for tea and cakes overlooking the river Usk. Less than 5 stiles.  Coffee and lunch stops
