The walk, which is just over 8 miles, follows good paths and tracks in this pleasant part of the Wolds, passing through 3 small Wolds villages. We start by going to Bag Enderby, where we will have a coffee stop at the church. From here we follow field paths to Somersby before climbing gently along good tracks to the top of Hardens Gap. There will be a short rest here, before we head downhill to follow the track and paths to reach South Ormsby after walking through the estate. Lunch stop will be at Sheep Dip Meadow at South Ormsby where there are picnic tables and toilet, as well as the opportunity to buy local eggs. The lunch stop will be later than usual, but from here it is not very far through the fields to Brinkhill Church to partake, if you want, of cakes, tea and coffee, all in aid of church funds. Please note the route passes through a number of fields where cattle have grazed in the past, but on the recce there was no sign of any, but that could change.
