Overview

Weather permitting, there will be views at various points over the Arun Valley, Amberley Wildbrooks and Parham Park.

From Burpham Village Hall there is a steady climb for 2mi - views across Arun Valley. Steep descent on track followed by climb up past vineyard near Downs Farm. Join South Downs Way and ascend Amberley Mount (steep - a less steep option is available, if required). Views across Amberley Wildbrooks.  Continue less steeply to Rackham Hill (high point - 3.75mi) and on to Springhead Hill (5mi). Views across Parham Park. Leave SDW and descend for 3mi back to Burpham
