The walk starts as a steady climb (600ft) eastwards that ends with lovely views of the valley below. This is followed by a wooded section that opens up onto the fields above Blagdon, with a view of the lake. We then head down through Blagdon and down into the valley, behind the Blagdon Pumping station. We cross the River Yeo and then head through Aldwick Court Farm. We then head North, uphill, to the left of a vineyard through Aldwick Woods We emerge from woods and follow a track towards Cribb's Farm where we turn westward. After a few fields we head south, passing the entrance to Aldwick Court. After a few fields we follow a Emley Lane until we reach the footpath for Emley Farm. We go through Emley farm and then head towards Rickford and turn right at the ford up the hill to Cross the A368 and head to Burrington village where we make our way back to the car park
