A delightful circular walk awaits you starting from Burrow Mump Car Park. For those who are up for a bit of adventure, climbing the hill to the top offers breathtaking views of the Somerset Levels and the confluence of the Rivers Parrett, Tone, and Cary.
Route Details
This walk involves crossing one very busy road twice, but otherwise traverses terrain paths, tracks, and country roads. The route is mainly flat and easy to navigate, making it suitable for a leisurely stroll along the river and rhynes. However, do be prepared for potentially muddy patches. The walk is Dog Friendly but dogs must be kept on leads.
For those interested in a bite to eat, there is a pub on the other side of the hill, The King Alfred, in Burrowbridge. It could be a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a meal after the walk.
