We are the Bury St Edmunds Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Meeting in the Abbey Gardens we will walk southwards through new development into open countryside. We will explore an estate village and an interesting church, before walking along an old railway line. The return will pass another church and cross Hardwick Heath before we walk through Bury St Edmunds and enjoy the Christmas lights. Tracks and some quiet roads, a few stiles and probably some mud. Good views and varied countryside.
