A lovely, long circular walk where we will enjoy coffee on Caer Caradoc and lunch on The Lawley. We start up Hope Bowdler, but skirt around it, taking a lower path below the Gaer Stone. After crossing Cwms Road it's a steep ascent to the impressive Caer Caradoc hill fort. Our descent is to the north bringing us to just a few fields away from The Lawley. Having walked the full length over the top of it, we return to Comley via a bridleway on the west flank. From Comley it's a minor road, a track and a few fields (1 steep) to Willstone. The last leg takes us between the tops of Willstone and Hope Bowdler Hills, heading south, back to the village.
Steep in places, with some rough tracks.
