The route leaves Carr Mill Dam and follows the path along Sankey Valley Country Park then returns to the Dam. It then follows rights of way to reach the far end of the Dam before returning to the starting point
Drive to the front of the Toby Carvery then park on the road NOT on the car park. If necessary proceed along the road until there are clear spaces even as far as the dam. The walk leader will be present in good time to offer assistance. (The car park is camera monitored. If you intend to use the Toby Carvery for refreshments after the walk you may enter your registration number on the console inside the pub for free parking after mentioning to staff what you intend to do)
