We are the Newark Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We meet at Caythorpe village, parking near the village hall. Then take the footpath accross fields, past a lovely mill house, down by the side of the lakes/gravel pits. Then head towards Thurgarton station, then follow the footpath by the railway track on the other side of the lakes back towards Caythorpe. Coffee stop at Hoveringham, lunch stop by the lakes near the end.
The walk is mostly on footpaths and across fields, so could be wet and muddy. A small section of road walking. No toilets along the walk.
