Overview

The walk follows a community route, a minor road and the Rhymney Valley Ridgeway walk to reach Mynydd Meo where it continues along this walk before heading to Cefn Eglwysilan and onto the WT station before returning home.

Given the right conditions there should be excellent views.

There is one stile on the walk.

There are three climbs, the first to Mynydd Meo is 180 metres, the second to Cefn Eglwysilan is 170 metres and the final to the WT station is 20 metres.

There are two areas that are wet where it is necessary to hop from tump to tump.  As opposed to the leader's last Sunday walk there should be no problems with undergrowth.
