Overview

This is a very quiet area with lovely views.

From the river Redlake valley we will follow paths, lanes and farm tracks on steady (but not steep) ascents over Pen-y-Wern Hill and then up to Whinberry Hill and Black Hill, returning to Chapel Lawn via Fiddlers Elbow and Fowdon.

There are several stiles.

Car parking is at Chapel Lawn Village Hall. Chapel Lawn is sign posted from Bucknell. As you drive through Chapel Lawn, the hall carpark is on your right, just after the church. Donations for parking are not required. Exp 201
