Overview

A walk from the East Anglian Railway Museum through Wakes Colne, White Colne, Earls Colne and Chalkney Wood, returning to Chappel. We'll be walking on a mixture of footpaths, bridleways and pavement/quiet road.

10.15 meet for 10.30am start. Note later start time to fit in with trains.

Please bring a packed lunch, and something waterproof to sit on. There might be no seats or benches at the lunch stop.

Parking and toilets are available at the start (at East Anglian Railway Museum), but please note that the Museum is a charity and if you are parking in their car park or using their loos, please make a donation to the Museum at visitor reception (where the toilets are).
