Overview

From the car park we take the Wye valley way south through the streets of Ross on Wye before emerging at the base of Chase Hill, followed by a steep incline to the top of the hill, then on to the site of an old hill fort. The views across Ross and the countryside beyond are beautiful . We descend the hill and walk across to Penyard Park where we get majestic views of the country to the south of Ross. Another steep climb through a beautiful tree lined gorge then leads us back down to the initial steep incline and back through urban Ross.
