Overview

A beautiful Dog Friendly walk, which takes us along the top of Chew Valley Lake and down the other side through a car park with a popular cafe, towards Knowle Hill (spectacular views if you can brave the mud). On the return we cross fields, pass Chota Castle, cross stone bridges over babbling pretty rivers, and walk through a small wood.

Please bring a light lunch and something to drink.

Footwear: Come prepared for mud, especially if you intend to walk to the summit of Knowle Hill. A walking pole may be useful.

Many thanks to Somer Valley Ramblers for inviting us to join this walk.
