Overview

The walk starts from Chipping Sodbury following the Frome Valley Walk towards Old Sodbury, we then join the Cotswold Way climbing the Cotswold escarpment to visit an Iron Age hill fort, three sides of which are enclosed within double ramparts. We then descend to Little Sodbury, walk on a little further to Horton where we start our return back towards Chipping Sodbury on the Monarch's Way.

This is mainly a countryside walk through woodland, across fields and lanes although there are some stiles, hills and road walking. Teriffic views on a clear day and areas of historical interest.
