Based in Clevedon, our group formed in September 1990. Our members come from various areas including, Clevedon, Portbury, Weston super Mare, Nailsea, Yatton and Bristol and surrounding areas. Our walks cover N.Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wales. Including The Mendips, Quantocks and Brecon Beacons.
Our walks programme is varied and includes: Saturday walks - some with pub lunches and others requiring packed lunches; and Sunday walks, always with a packed lunch and sometimes with the chance of a cream tea or cold drink afterwards. With distances varying from 5 miles to 12+ miles we hope that we have something of interest for all walkers to enjoy.
We have approx. 152 members – with around 15 walkers most weekends. We are a friendly bunch and always keen to welcome new walkers - we hope that they enjoy themselves when out with us! So please come and sample our walks - you can walk 2 or 3 times with us before deciding to join the Ramblers.
