Overview

An undulating walk through woods and fields. Our route will be along well trodden paths of the Ridgeway and Chiltern Way and it is likely to be muddy in places. From Watlington Hill we drop down to the Ridgeway and follow this to Swincombe Church. We then pick up the Chiltern Way, heading up through Church Wood to Cookley Green, Russell’s Water Common and Pishill Bottom; then it’s through Greenfield Wood and back to Christmas Common via Hollandridge Lane.
