This winter walk around the base of Moel Goedog will be taken at a very gentle pace. Moel Gedog is a hill of some 388 metres with an ancient hill fort on the top. Much of the walk follows a Bronze Age track, with a stone circle just off our path soon after our walk commences. There are stunning views throughout the walk, weather permitting. Initially we look over the Dwryd Estuary and Portmeirion as we contour around the west side of Goedog. As we advance to face north we see the vista of Eryri and Yr Wyddfa and where the path turns again there are views of Clip and Ysgyfarnogod. On our return around the South side of Goedog, we follow the Ardudwy Way, having views inland to the Rhinogydd mountains and Llyn Cwm Bychan. Eventually we come full circle back to the lane and our parking area.
