Overview

A 7 mile circular walk from Caunton to Bathley, Norwell and back to Caunton.

We walk through crops, woods, by the Beck, through open fields with lovely views and pass some beautiful horses.

From Caunton, we go up a gentle incline to Bathley and continue to Norwell where we will stop for lunch so don't forget a packed lunch. Norwell has a lovely garden centre and a bus shelter full of books.

From Norwell we continue back to Caunton where The Plough will be open for a refeshing drink if anyone would like to partake.

This walk has a few stiles, some are high and wobbly. There is livestock in a couple of fields ( cows which are loose).

Parts of the walk are very overgrown so if there has been any rain you can expect to get wet from the grass. Hopefully, my prewalk and bashing it down with a stick will make it passable! Walking boots and long trousers are advisable.

There will be a coffee stop and a lunch stop so bring provisions.
