We are the Portsmouth Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk to the east of Petworth to Stopham Bridge, outward via Brinksole Common and Bedham and returning via Little Bognor and Byworth.
Main car park at Petworth has usually been free on Sunday.
Pub at Stopham Bridge, Stopham church/yard is an alternative lunch stop.
There is slightly more walking on lanes than on previous versions of this walk. There is one very muddy section at Low Heath and there are a few locations which may be unexpectedly slippery, so hiking poles might be useful occasionally.
