Overview

A walk from Fernhurst to Blackdown; then on to Lurgashall for lunch; and returning via Lower House Farm.  Map OL33

Lovely views from Blackdown;  lots of bluebells en route; a pub stop at lunch time, plus cricket green and churchyard for the eating of sandwiches; and, finally, a stroll through a vineyard on the return to the car park.

Note from Leader:  I recce'd this walk on Thursday 17th April.  Most paths were, as expected, very dry BUT there were a few boggy, muddy spots.  Since rain is forecast over the coming week the presence of boggy and muddy sections is bound to increase.  My mobile number is: 07443528575 should you need to contact me on day of walk only.
