We are the Kingston Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We begin the walk following Polesden estate paths, southwards, across Ranmore Common to reach the North Downs ridge. Then eastward to Denbies Hillside (NT). A pause here to enjoy the wide views, weather permitting. We then continue along the North Downs Way, mostly along a gently descending route through Denbies Vineyard estate to Westhumble (pub drinks & toilets at lunch stop).
During the shorter afternoon walk we return via Beechy Wood, a short section of Crabtree Lane, Chapelhill Wood and the Nursery Field.
There is one long, gradual ascent during the afternoon, otherwise a moderate, undulating walk. Field paths, open common and woodland. It is likely to be wet and muddy in places; poles could be helpful.
