The walk is for the most part on tarmac footpaths so comfortable trainers walking shoes should be suitable dependent on weather. That said the path through Tintock Wood can be be quite muddy but if walk is preceded exceptionally wet weather we can avoid it.
The walk can be cut short at various points close to bus stops if required so there is no need to complete the circuit but don't forget your bus pass.
This is a gentle local walk to break you in after the Christmas Festivities and should finish by 1.30pm which means that we will be finished by lunchtime so no need to pack a lunch although there will be a coffee break. At the end of the walk I am proposing lunch in the Kirky Puffer if anyone is interested.
