Overview

We start at the parking area on Adam's Hill (up the hill from The Fountain, opposite The Four Stones pub). We walk up to the Four Stones then join the North Worcestershire Way walking west to Sunfield, north to Hagley and on to the Obelisk. We then head south east to Hagley Hill Farm Barns, Hagley Wood, Nimmings Plantation and Walton Hill. From there we head back to Adam's Hill.

There are several climbs in this walk, none are long or very steep. Poles might be helpful. There are a few stiles, and we cross the A456 twice.

If the weather is kind, there are good views over Birmingham and Worcestershire.

We plan to eat at the Fountain at Clent. This is an excellent pub with good food, although it is slightly more expensive than some pubs. It does get busy on a Thursday so, if you want to eat, you should book. Say that you are with the Worcester Ramblers and they may be able to put us on one table. We will not be making a group booking.
