A easy six mile circular walk in the pretty countryside around Clifford Chambers. Our route goes through a nice mixture of farmland and woodland, plus a little parkland, as well as the attractive villages of Atherstone and Preston-on-Stour. Pretty easy going, on good paths and tracks, plus some quiet roads. Only a few stiles. It is gently undulating in places but there are no steep or tricky bits. There is a slight chance we could meet some livestock. Suitable for well-behaved dogs on leads.
Bring refreshments for a snack break
For those interested, the nearby Stratford Garden Centre is a good place for a post-walk lunch.
