Overview

From the car park the route follows the Usk Valley walk downstream. It then leaves the river and passes the hamlet of Bettws Newydd, gaining height to the Iron Age Hillfort of Coed y Bwnydd. After passing through a number of fields we arrive at Clytha Castle folly before returning via the edge of Clytha Park and the banks of the river Usk to our start point.
