A walk accessible only at low tide across Colgrain and Ardmore North Bays to Ardmore Point before heading inland and returning to Helensburgh.

A walk along the shore crossing Ardmore North Bay before walking round the peninsula and ascending along minor roads and tracks to the southwest flank of Killoeter. We descend past Camis Eskan and return to Craigendoran.

Low tide is 12:35. We cross Ardmore North Bay during the falling tide.

Local Grade: C+

Terrain: Mostly on good tracks, paths and minor roads but also 3 km of tidal seashore – mud, sand, salt-water puddles and seaweed covered rocks.
