Overview

A moderate climb from the car park to join the South Downs Way for expansive views. We will pass several Bronze Age burial mounds, following the trail to Heyshott and Graffham Down. We descend from the Downs to the village. Then onwards on farm tracks through fields to Heyshott village. On to Cocking village before ascending to join the South Downs Way again and Hilltop cafe.

Several ups & downs. On chalk the tracks might be slippery so poles recommended. Bring a picnic lunch. An opportunity for a cafe stop just before the finish.
