Overview

Start from the village of Hendre at the car park next to the Coed y Felin nature reserve. Travelling from Mold on the A541 you turn right just before entering Hendre on to a minor road with the car park on the left in 50 metres.

A circular through fields and a woodland and next to a large disused quarry with good paths and tracks and wonderful views. We will follow an old railway track for a while, past industrial activity and through a nature reserve.
