Overview

We leave the village on footpaths heading uphill towards Llyn Gweryd and around Nurse Fawr woodland. We turn north and ascend to the summit of Moel y Plas, returning on a tarmac road to the village past the remains of a burial cairn estimated to date from the Bronze age.
