There is a limit of 15 people for this walk and booking is essential. Please book by registering on the main NELR website (www.nelr.org.uk) and using the booking button for this walk. Buzzed is just inside the entrance to CitizenM Hotel, with tables, toilets and a spacious soft seating area. It's also possible to get a takeaway to drink in the garden opposite.
After coffee wewill have an optional walk along the Thames, crossing Tower Bridge and walking towards the South Bank. We pass near London Bridge Station after 1 mile (toilets). There are other drop-out options and toilets along the route.
After crossing to Embankment Tube Station, at 2¾ miles, we continue through gardens and past Temple Station (3½ miles). We will visit the Middle Temple and then finish at Blackfriars Station.
There is a possibility of a drink at The Blackfriar, next to the station. It has a unique interior, so worth a look anyway.
This walk is in Oyster Zone 1.
We will be walking on pavements and made paths.
Bring a packed lunch if you plan to walk beyond London Bridge.
After the turnstiles at Tower Hill Station, take the exit signposted for Fenchurch Street Station. Once outside, immediately turn right and you will see the CitizenM Hotel entrance. The coffee bar is inside, on the right and the group tends to gather in the seating area on the left.
