Overview

Circular walk, partly along the Viking Way taking in 3 attractive villages. Some excellent views.

We mainly use footpaths and tracks, there is one section of road walking but with a good verge,

No stiles and no livestock so dogs are welcome.

There are the usual coffee and lunch stops so please bring your own refreshments as well as something to sit on as there are no benches at the proposed coffee stop.

There is an uphill section at the end of the walk but then the pub awaits.

Travel/Parking Take the A17 from Newark to Leadenham then left onto A607 through Wellingore and Navenby, past Boothby Graffoe then left down Rectory Road into Coleby and left again into High Street. Easiest parking is on the High St outside the houses near the Tempest pub.
