A 9 mile moderate circular walk from Combe Hay. Setting off in an easterly direction the walk follows the route of the Old Somerset Coal Canal and then the Somerset and Dorset railway from Midford. It then heads east through Horsecombe Vale and the village of Southstoke, continuing through fields and along tracks before turning southwest down the Fosse Way. In Dunkerton the walk turns east across fields back to the start point.
The walk is dog friendly, though there may be livestock in fields. There are two busy roads which will need to be crossed with care.
