Overview

This walk which Gillian and Philip are leading starts at Clachan of Campsie at 9am.

We head east aiming for Campsie golf course. The climbing starts here where we head uphill to Meikle Reive (Pictish hill fort) a short break here before the steep climb to Cort Ma Law 531 meters. We return due west along the ridge above Lennoxtown to the carpark at the bend on Crow road. From here we drop back down to Clachan of Campsie. There is a nice cafe here that sells classic pineapple cakes. The walk should take 6 hours to complete and gaiters are advised due to the boggy nature of the terrain.
