We are a friendly, socially active Ramblers Group welcoming all who enjoy walking. Our walks programme is extensive and varied covering all days of the week.
Coulsdon South station via Cane Hill, Chipstead, Porters Wood, Long Plantation, Chipstead Bottom, Ramblers Rest (lunch pub/picnic), then through Banstead Wood & Park Downs and to Chipstead station. Drop out possible after lunch by 1 mile level path direct to Chipstead station. Text leader by 6:00 pm on 7th April to eat in pub.
Having checked out the Rambler's Rest, I note that the main courses may be a bit pricey for some people. However the pub also offers a fixed price lunch option - 2 courses for £20:95, 3 courses for £24:95. Full details can be found on their website https://theramblersrest.co.uk. Depending on service, this may result in a slightly longer lunch break than normal.
