Overview

The first of a 4-part trail based on the former Great Central Railway. From the station our walk descends into the Chess valley, we cross the river and pass through Latimer Park, close to Latimer House. We then closely follow the river into Chesham. If you wish, bring a small snack. We will call in for a drink and, if you wish, a meal at a pub in Chesham at the end of the walk. All travel is within the Freedom Pass area. Contact walk leader (texts only please) by 18:00 hrs, on 29 April to book a place on the walk, and say if you want a pub meal. Please also say if you are intending to join us anywhere other than at Marylebone station.
