Overview

Following the wooded edge of Coundmoor Brook, well-known for snowdrops in February, we continue to Harnage passing some small pools and a reservoir, returning to the pretty village of Cound for lunch.  The second half of the walk takes us to Venus Pool Nature Reserve, a haven for birdlife, and returns alongside Cound Brook and over the grade 2 listed Coundarbour Bridge.  A couple of stiles and a short section likely to be very muddy.  Joint walk with Sandwell and Wolverhampton Ramblers.
