A historic walk on tracks and rough paths in the southern Pentland Hills. We start at West Linton Golf Course, walking alongside the course, pass an ancient burial site, to take an old drove road to West Water Reservoir. At Black Law we use a rough moorland track to visit the Convenanter's Grave.
We return by Medwynbank on a path that passes prehistoric cairns and Slipperfield.
The route is on track and paths that may be wet and muddy. Boots, gaiters and walking poles are recommended .
