This is a varied and beautiful walk, taking in ancient paths, farmland woods and moors. There are stiles to negotiate, and you will need a packed lunch and good footwear. Please contact the leader regarding dogs on this walk as cattle may be encountered.

Meet outside Mytholmroyd Library at the bottom of Cragg Vale Road. There is plenty of road side parking, and Mytholmroyd has ample public transport along Burnley Road and a railway station in the centre of the village, near the walk start.
