We are the Harrogate Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Heading north from the church through pastures, then a gradual, gentle uphill to reach Oulston Reservoir and the source of the River Foss before lunch stop in Yearsley. An undulating return via woodland, pasture and Crayke estate paths.
There is a small ford to cross & about 8 stiles. A couple of uninterested ponies to pass, sheep (hopefully with lambs). Possibly dairy cattle at Peel Park Farm.
If you intend joining the walk, a text would be appreciated just in case of last minute changes. However you are still welcome to just turn up but please always double check the website for any updates.
