We are the Chorley Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Starting from the War Memorial car park in Whittle-le-Woods we follow the main paths through the Cuerden Valley Park leaving the park to pass Hawks Clough and reach Clayton Brook. We then follow the old paths through Clayton Brook to reach Carr Brook Linear Park climbing to Chorley Old Road and the course of the Lancaster Canal (South). We return by following the old canal round the Whittle Hills before descending to the A6 main road at St John's Church.
Park on the War Memorial car park in Whittle-le-Woods at the start of Factory Lane, off the A6 and next to St John's School.
